Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Your email address, used to send you a sign-in link and manage your subscription.
• Your subscription and billing status (e.g. active, trialing, cancelled). We never see or store your full card number, that's handled entirely by Stripe.
• Anything you choose to enter into the app yourself, like pantry items, shopping list entries, dehydrator or freeze dryer batches, personal recipes, or feedback you send us. This data is private to your account; other members can never see it.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of third-party services to run this app, and each only sees what it needs to do its job:

• Stripe, to process payments and manage subscriptions. Stripe handles your payment details directly, we never see your full card number.
• Supabase, to store your account and the data you enter into the app.
• Resend, to deliver sign-in and account emails.
• Vercel, to host the app itself.
• Kit, our email service. When you start a free trial, your email address is also added to the Koda Kingdom email list. You can unsubscribe from those emails at any time using the link in any of them.

We don't sell your information, and we don't share it with anyone else for advertising or marketing purposes.

Cookies and sign-in

This app uses a single sign-in cookie to keep you logged in. There's no password to remember, and no third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Visit counts

To understand how people find and join the app, we keep simple, anonymous counts of visits to the homepage and signup pages, including which site or link a visit came from. These counts don't use cookies, and they don't include your name, email, or IP address.

Affiliate links

Some recipes include an "Equipment You'll Need" section with affiliate links to products on other sites. If you buy something through one of those links, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This is always disclosed directly on the recipe.

Your data

You can delete any pantry item, log, shopping list entry, or personal recipe yourself at any time from within the app. To delete your account entirely, contact us and we'll take care of it.
